Settled!

Wow. It's been a long time! We are finally moved, settled in, (well...mostly) through our training, and beginning to adjust! Whew! What a whirlwind! I still have to almost smack myself to realize what we've done! So crazy how fast it all happened. BUT. I know it happened exactly how God wanted it to - things just fell into place! We've really felt welcomed - from the time we stepped in the door to find a welcome note on our fridge to finding our fridge, freezer & cupboards stocked FULL for us! (WITH some meals inside!) That was a welcomed sight!!
We've enjoyed getting to know the residents & staff some, and look forward to some 'normalcy' now that the training is over & 'schedules' will begin. Our kids are adjusting SO well with school. They love it! We're so thankful - a huge answer to prayer! The only concern is Kels with Math. They are ahead out here, so we've had to work extra hard with her! They also love getting to ride the bus everyday! :) Another thing that's been exciting for them is we're in the heart of Amish country! It's very interesting to live among them - and the kids are still pointing out 'buggies' & horse poop everywhere we go! (and trust me...it's everywhere!!)
Adjusting to 'work' everyday has been a tad challenging for me. Different, anyway. Abbi has done great, overall. She went to different church families for the first week, & got to know some other girls her age. Then she's been coming with us this week. (she will from now on)
