We have an inventor on our hands.....

Kelsey & another classmate took part in the Invention Convention at her school today! They have been working hard on this...it's an Automatic Pet Food Dispenser! Your animal steps on the 'lever', which pulls a string, which knocks down the cups at the top. The cups have marbles in them, which roll down & fills another cup, which releases a cover to the food, so it slides down the chute & fills the bowl. (did you follow all that?) Pretty clever! James was the 'mastermind' behind the whole thing. Kels learned how to use a drill & she helped spray paint it. It actually works, too...I was pretty impressed. Chad & James' Dad have had just as much fun helping with it - they built it over @ the GW shop.

So here they are with the finished product! :) Way to go, guys!!
